CordsWhat is it about "cords" behind machines that drive some of us over the edge? I mean, geez, it's just a cord and for the most part we don't really see them. Isn't it amazing how "those guys" get tangled and into a HUGE mess even though you don't move them and shuffle them around? Like the sock monster there must be a cord tangler in most homes and offices.
I have a client I bought a DELL computer for, assembled it and when it was time to use I.T. Support I discovered the cord tangler had struck again! I know Bill didn't get up and tangle those cords and I know the nurses or maintenance people didn't either.
I don't know, somehow it happens. I recently opted to "untangle" my cords and used "Ativa" (which is like zipping them up in black cord) to keep them out of sight, in one bundle and ... um, neat... I think. I don't know, maybe at some point I'll "unzip" them and see they are tangled again...who knows, who cares. They look neat!
I also really like "Belkins" small Velcro wraps (aka: Cable ties). I use them in my car for the numerous cords I have to wrap and keep together (IE: GPS, phone charger, Moshi...cordless headset) and my camera charger. All of them are also labeled with my label machine, (it's simple inexpensive and works great) so I won't forget which is which...yeah, I'd forget and it illuminates the dilemma!
By the way, I LOVE the "Moshi,"
