Do we have enough hours in the day? Taking time to sleep?
Did God know what he was doing allocating time in a day?
All good questions! If you answered no to (1) one or more you need me!
Are you managing your time or is time managing you? Do you have enough hours in the day?
Are you allowed to sleep? It’s been my experience that if you want something done,
ask the busiest person you know to do it! Hum, I bet they know how to manage their
time vs. their time managing them….and they sleep! So Mr. God actually knew what he was doing.
So is the problem you? Well, maybe…
If I could tell you one more helpful hint, I’d answer giving an “ordinary” easy solution.
Don’t put things off. Allocate time daily. Schedule and follow through!
If I’m working on something that will ultimately go into a clients file I pull that file
and when I’m done with what I’m doing I put everything away. If I’m paying bills, a part of
that process is to file away the receipts or shred. NOT later…. “now” … remember it’s a piece
of what you’re doing. So “finish” what you’re doing. The task isn’t done until you finish the parts.
I also allocate time at the end of every day to “log and input” what needs to be done and
I clean up at the end of every day (& as I go). It certainly makes life run more smoothly.
And I do have enough hours in my day; I sleep and believe God knows what he’s doing!
If you can’t remember anything else remember this:
Don’t put things off. Allocate time daily. Schedule and follow through!
If you can’t do that….then you live life, we’ll manage it!
