TipDid anyone ever tell you growing up “Goodnight, don’t let the bed bugs bite?”

I not only remember being told that, but I said that to my own children and others. I didn’t really believe they existed, did you?  I imagine at some point we believed they existed
(like the monster under the bed…that’s why we ran and jumped in the bed), but realized they didn’t. Right?!

But they DO exist! So why are they showing up all over the place nowadays? I had someone call me recently to help her elderly parents. They were recently overtaken with bed bugs
and had to go through the extermination process and discarding items. This made the home a total wreck and they needed help sorting. They took this as an opportunity to purge what was old, needed to be donated, tossed and cleaned and frankly because of the age of the parents this really helped the adult children and they were elated with the end results.

I was in Boston recently and happened to be in the room when “The Dr’s TV Show” came on. Low and behold, guess what they talked about? Yep, Bed Bugs!
