Hypnosis to Stop Smoking

For years and years I attempted like many to stop smoking. Tried and failed, tried various ways, various times. In the good times, and bad.

At one time if you told me I'd finally quit by going to a hypnotist, I'd told you "you're crazy" now I'd promote going 110%.
It's not as "wacky weird" as one would think. I recently answered a post off of HARO. The reporter posting was looking to do a story on
people that have successfully used Hypnosis to quit smoking for AOL Health. I responded and pitched the story. Primarily because I hope this helps someone else.
I totally understand the ups, downs and frustrations with trying to quit, the addiction, desire and ..... failing despite the "want to"

Something the article didn't publish was (I know she won't mind me saying) my mother (who is turning 84 yrs. old next week) was in town when I went.
She had extended her stay a week. I went "ugh" now what, I either tell her what I'm going to do or tell her she can't stay another week because
I didn't want to cancel my appointment. I opted to tell her and "we" made an appointment for her to go the same day, same time. She said
"I'm only going to support you while I stay, I have a carton of cigarettes with me and at home and I'm going to smoke when I get home"
I said, Okay mom...whatever, just give it a chance while you're here. She's never smoked since. I'm not sure if she "donated" her
cigarettes to a shelter or tossed them, but I do know she had no intentions of quitting and did.

Should you be interested in who we went to, his name is: Fred Ackerman. He's in Silver Spring MD and his number is: (301) 585-5374. I'd go
if you have to drive 3 hours+. It'll be well worth your time (and money). My golly, for what "we as smokers" spend on cigarettes (or did),
you can well afford a visit (or should I say you can't afford not to).

George (my husband) and I went to Paris France 3 weeks after I saw Fred (where EVERYONE smokes EVERYWHERE) Not smoking never phased me!
BTW: We went on a cruise last year (4 years AFTER I quit) and I opted to volunteer to be Hypnotized for a joke (comedian) I was one of
the first ones dismissed (off stage) because I "couldn't be hypnotized, I had something else on my mind" Too funny, huh.

Have a smoke free day,
