Of course she’s the “newborn expert” --- touts having had famous clients and has spots on the news (perhaps from when she first began)…
none of which matters folks, if she is who she is. She has parents sign a VERY long commitment and IF they cancel for any reason (personality conflicts, etc.) her contract states she gets paid and she DOES make them pay. Frankly I wouldn’t have in this case and the agencies all over would be hearing about her from me. She distributed being lazy, regimented about what she would and wouldn’t do, and very cold. She put an air of hostility & confusion in the home while she was there and when she left…all that left with her!
If I see something going on in the home, I WILL speak up. Even if it means I lose MY job/client. Doesn’t matter to me if they are “in a contract” paying $1,900+ a month for services, I need to sleep at night.
Thank God for good nannies and great clients that want to hear what you have to say. She was terminated and gone w/in a few days. They simply needed to know THEIR GUT was right.
