Extra You Client in DC Dental Office
Extra You is who you should call for Independent Living Senior Care services, because we support seniors who need temporary or long term help in their home or in retirement communities. Our commitment to excellence as well as our willingness to accommodate your personal needs is what sets us apart and makes Extra You the best choice in the Washington DC Metro area. In most cases our services are tax deductible with a physician’s prescription. As always, however, tax planning should be done with your tax attorney or accountant.
We are often hired by adult children who no longer live in the same city, state or country as their elderly loved ones. Often caregivers for the elderly have a family of their own, businesses to tend, or simply want to spend quality time while with their parents versus running errands, shopping, packing and unpacking, downsizing, paying bills, or escorting their parents to the doctor's office. At Extra You we understand that every Senior and each situation is as unique as the individual, and we offer a wide range of care giving services designed to meet the diverse needs of seniors and their families.
Respite or relief for family is available
Extra You can provide assistance so you can run errands, go shopping or get some much-needed rest. Our personalized "Companion and Life Management Services" for Senior Citizens are available 5 days a week (Saturday's are possible with advance arrangements) from 2 hours per day to 5 hours per day. We have a 2 day, 2 hour (per day) minimum. We do not have a minimum per month. Mileage over 15 is charged and all errand miles are reimbursable to Extra You. Purchases made on behalf of the client by Extra You are reimbursable by the client twice monthly.
Organization Projects are available and may be booked separately. We are insured, bonded, licensed and anyone that works with Extra You is an employee who has completed a full background check.
Should you need maid service, dressing or bathing we can also make these arrangements or refer you to a local resource Should you need "Pre or Post Operative Assistance"
Periodic review and communication with family
Extra You keeps in regular contact with the extended family and we offer an affordable solution for families concerned for their loved ones who need extra help with daily, weekly, or monthly activities. We use these conversations to discuss how things are going, answer any concerns, or redefine any services that may be needed. This is a great service for clients whose families live far away and may not be in daily contact with their loved ones.
You Don't Have to be a Senior to Use Our Services!
We are not in home care services, however when our clients need to transition to in home care (more than 5 hours per day or services to include bathing, dressing or medication distribution assistance) we will refer you to a professional in home care services
